Abstract
With the objective of compiling essential information on water and related resources of the Eastern Nile sub-basins that can be used to support analysis for the identification of multipurpose development opportunities under the EN Multipurpose Development Program, water resources inventory report was prepared for Ethiopia.
Essential topics given account in these country-based One System Inventory (OSI) report includes physical features of sub-basins, climate and hydrology, water infrastructure (hydropower, irrigation, navigation, storage, etc.), water resources development and management, water quality, etc. Also provided in the reports are: time-series monthly climatic and river flow data for selected stations, available sediment data, and some annotated references.
