This section comprises the One System Inventory (OSI) socio-economic report prepared for Egypt. This country-based document compiled relevant socio-economic issues and indicators such as: socio-economic regulatory institutional setting, basic demographic profiles, livelihood/employment characteristics, social and physical infrastructure provision (education/school, health, markets, roads, etc.), poverty, gender issues, conflict & conflict management, government & NGO development programs and plans, etc. Annotated bibliographies are also prepared for some references (research/study documents, publications, statistical abstracts, etc.).
