Eastern Nile Planning Model (ENPM)

The general objective of this study is to describe the existing situation of institutional reform to investigate its contribution in improving water productivity and income generation to contribute in poverty reduction. The specific objectives of the study are: determine the cropping diversification and productivity of crops in Gezira scheme since the WUAs have been formed and compare with the previous state; specify the necessary steps required to ensure that WUAs have a role to play in poverty reduction; and produce MCA tool with relevant criteria and indicators to describe the performance of Gezira Scheme under the WUAs.
