Annex supporting the Report of the Baseline Study in the Baro-Akobo-Sobat (BAS) sub-basin, as part of the BAS Multi-Purpose Water Resource Development Study. It describes the socio-economic environment (population, education and health, gender, social structure and design, conflicts, land tenure, economic status, infrastructure and agricultural markets) in the Ethiopian and South Sudanese part of the BAS basin, and key issues, challenges and opportunities of the basin.
