It describes the basin’s socio-environmental set up and identifies existing and potential challenges to its natural and social environment. It attempts to obtain local knowledge and indicates how to conserve the fragile environment of the basin and integrate environmental issues in the proposed integrated water resource development plan of the BAS sub-basin.
